With Vietnamese Lunar New Year - Tet - setting in this week (Feb. 7), Ambassador and Mrs. Le Cong Phung hosted receptions on Wednesday and Saturday at the Embassy to welcome the biggest traditional yearly event of the Vietnamese people.
Deputy Chief of Mission Nguyen Tien Minh paid a working visit to Charleston from Jan. 22nd to 24th, where Minh, accompanied by Trade Counselor Ngo Van Thoan and Economic and Investment Counselor Bui Liem, attended a trade and investment promotion event - "Vietnam Business Opportunities", organized by South Carolina's World Trade Center.
